olovnatá beloba
alebo aj cerusa, karbonátová, komorová, pravá, perlová, strieborná beloba je zásaditý uhličitan olovnatý, 2PbCO3.Pb(OH)2 získavaný z cerusitu. Má kryštalickú štruktúru a mäkkú textúru. Má relatívne malú farbivosť, ale veľkú kryciu schopnosť. Zle odoláva kyselinám, dobre vzdoruje alkáliám a je nerozpustný v organických rozpúšťadlách. Odolný proti poveternostným vplyvom, ale černie pôsobením sírovodíku. V olejovej farbe schne dobre a v celej vrstve, preto sa používa ako podklad pre maľbu. Praská menej ako ostatné beloby. Vzhľadom na to, že staršia olovená beloba s olejovým pojidlom žltne, odporúča sa napr. s modrou farbou použiť zinkovú belobu. Podstatou výroby je oxidácia olova kyselinou octovou. Technológia výroby známa od 4. storočia pred naším letopočtom. Vitruvius nazýval belobu caerussa. Pri výrobe sa používal tzv. holandský spôsob (príprava beloby trvala 6-12 týždňov), ktorý nahradil podstatne vylepšený kremžský spôsob (príprava beloby trvala 4-6 týždňov). Až do 19. storočia patrila medzi najvýznamnejšie pigmenty. Jedovatosť obmedzuje jej distribúciu v práškovom stave.
