Several days in May, 1964 are red letter days in the history of monument protection. Those days mark the Second Congress of Architects and Specialists of Historic Buildings held in Venice, on the Isle of San Giorgio.
Changing Visions, Attitudes, and Contexts in the 21st Century will provide a unique global forum for sharing predictions, projections, and warnings about how the field of heritage will look in the coming decades.
The UNESCO-ICCROM Asian Academy for Heritage Management is a newly established network promoting professional training to enhance the management of the region’s cultural heritage.
EPA’s university courses are programmed every three academic years. The beginning of the next course in preventive conservation is scheduled for the end of 2003. The course is validated by the University of Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne and the University of Abomey-Calavi in Benin.
The Australia ICOMOS National Committee on Cultural Tourism would like to hear from all members interested in joining the Committee. Prospective Committee members should be interested in taking an active part in defining and developing the Committee’s direction and work.
