Ericofon bol znacnym pokrokom v designe telefonov a povazuje sa dnes za akehosi predchodcu mobilneho telefonu. Navrh vypracoval Gøsta Thames v roku 1953, a bol vyrabany firmou Ericsson AB. Jeho novou strankou malo byt lahsie pouzivanie, mensia vaha a velkost.

Middle Ages in Europe

With the Christianization of the Roman Empire, the imperative to preserve much of the Ancient past suffered a serious setback.

The ancient world was now defined as “pagan”; relics of the ancient past were often regarded as suspicious and pagan. The earliest known impetus for preservation of objects, for their religious significance, again became
the primary factor directing care of material remains.

Objects from the pagan past were reworked and reused if they were thought to be beautiful. Others became raw materials once more – ancient building sites were used as quarries and metals were melted down…

in a case of art conservation we would be speaking about artist to support the philosophy of art historians. Art history was important to the development of conservation as a field..
I was thinking that conservators would prefer the other term I used: maker, therefor the slash. the term “maker” is also more objective i think.
This might be an interesting discussion about what is considered to be ART in general.

Ahoj Ondrej… tvoja odpoved ma potesila :) a som rada ze nam davas feedback, alebo akusi recenziu na forum. Aj pozitivnu aj negativnu.
Na ethics of conservation prave pracujem. Uz tam nebude coming soon..dufam coskoro. Verim ze z anglickeho fora bude coskoro ovocie a nejaky kolegovia zo zahranicia sa zapoja.

ta nestastna reveal problematika ilustruje prave to ze niekedy sa ani v slovencine nechapeme. Ale urcite sa k nej vratim! Co sa tyka “kariery” redaktora , ja som obycajny navstevnik ako kazdy iny a je zo mna moderator/ spolupracovnik a stala som sa nou tak isto ako sa mozes ty alebo niekto iny, zapajanim sa. Dovodom preco nepisem zatial clanky je ze sa necitim na to kvalifikovana, a zato ma bavia len diskusie. Inak tiez sa mi nechce kvoli diakritike (taka vyhovorka :lol: ).

Vazena freya. Diskusia nie je monolog a predpokladam ze redaktor je na to aby redigoval. To je obsah mojej hadanky. Mudra (redaktorska) a rychla reakcia aj na nebettycnu hlupost. Trpezlivost a “materinska” laska aj k najslabsiemu a najnesikovnejsiemu. Zrozumitelne vyjadrenie nazoru. Len vtedy zacneme, my hlavy zadubene, mozno premyslat. Konkretne na vas ako redaktorku mam jednu vyhradu. Volakde ste napisali, ze ci v slovencine existuje terminologia na to alebo ono. Dost som sa citil urazeny, tak globalne a zacudovany ze nikto na to nereagoval. O prispevkoch v anglictine, ktore ako keby iba potvrdzovali neexistenciu slovenskej terminologie radsej nebudem pisat. Bol by som len zvedavi kolko ludi na ne chodi.
Citim, ze moje vylevy dost odbocili od povodnej (dost roztriestenej) temy. Tiez sa chcem ospravedlnit za otvorenost v tomto tesnepredsviatkovom dni a este raz popriat obnove vela uspechov na ceste k nam, jej privrzencom.

radsej si poriadne precitaj znova co som o tej terminologii napisala. Nikde som sa nevyjadrovala ze ci ne/existuje v slov. alebo anglictine terminologia- ale opisovala som znamu problematiku som ze terminologia ustalena- (rovnaka) v konzervovani sa tazko hlada v kazdom jazyku nieto este ked komunikuje francuzsky konzervator s nemeckym. Mozme si to vysvetlit na priklade. Ak sa ti to nezda, nech sa paci, mame tu vykladovy slovnik, ktory mozes zacat redigovat. Pripadne vydaj to co je este nepublikovane a zarob si. Dalej netvrdim ako ini ze terminologiu ovladaju tak aby ma chapali vsetci! TY ano?? 8O Zacinam si pripadat ako na zakladnej skole kde zakladna terminologia je ta jedina??? 8O :|

Jedna vec sa mi na tebe a podobnych nepaci- to je cista kritika a skutek utek. Ja a TY a hociktory iny citatel ma na obnove presne TU ISTU DISPOZIICIU SA VYJADRIT k temam a prispievat. Pasivitu povazujem za slabost ja! :D Taktiez rozdiel medzi redaktormi a neredaktormi nerobim -absurdne! To ma tiez prekvapilo od Tleka v podakovani. Ale nie vsetci to chvalabohu tak chapu.

Co sa tyka prispevkov v anglickom fore…uz davnejsie som zistila vediem monolog a preto som s angl.prispevkami prestala. Lenze dostavili sa ziadnosti aj z redakcnej rady ze mam v tom pokracovat a temy dalej rozvyjat. AJ napriek tomu ze som vopred vedela ze nastanu reakcie ako mas ty, som sa na to dala a cas si nasla. Tym ze niektore temy su uz zalozene a stale sa im venujem, pridavam nove postrehy.. to je vsak aj ulohou kazdeho zakladatela novej temy. Statistiky udavaju ze angl.forum sa cita. Na reakcie tu mame tebaa, a potom Palo ma presne tu istu ulohu ako ja, ale zatial je zaneprazdneny. Pripadne sa otvorene pytam.. su to temy v angl.fore pre teba az tak nezaujimave, ze sa na ne neda reagovat???? Cakam uprimnu odpoved a budem si ju vazit.

Vyhovovali by ti tie prispevky radsej v slovencine? cakam uprimnu odpoved. Predpokladam ze ano, kedze si vyssie v tejto teme nezistil ze “ti anglicania” bol jednoducho spam, ktori sem casto chodi (momentalne je odstraneny).

Obnova ma vsak aj medzinarodne plany, zato existuje aj anglicke forum ktore treba este viac rozbehat.
Ked chceme peniazky z grantov a EU projektov pre tuto stranku atd., neocakavajme ze stranka bude mat uspech zrozumitelna iba v slovencine. Odbor konzervovania je tak velmi maly a uzky, ze zatvorit sa a zaskatulkovat sa iba ako slovaci by nas nikam nepohlo.. ani v spolupraci. Lenze niekto to iniciovat musi. Treba sa na veci pozerat aj z globalneho hladiska.

Ps: nedavno sa na obnove ukazali priklady trpezlivosti aj k tym najslabsim. myslim ze si to vsimli viaceri. :jerk: len ta trpezlovost nie je vzdy viditelna LEN vo fore.. existuju totiz aj sukromne spravy.

The Importance of Rome:

The earliest, strongest, most consistent manifestations of awareness of the need to preserve historical structures and art works in Europe occurs in Rome.

• Why? The situation of Rome was unique – of all the cities
in Europe, Rome was perhaps the only one that was:

– Important in a political context both in the past and in the present
– THE major religious center of the Christian Church in Europe
– In possession of a stunning cultural heritage (from buildings to
statuary, much which was subsequently to be rediscovered
through archaeological digs)
– A center of importance for the arts, especially towards the
Renaissance, as the popes and nobles of the city continued to
commission new works

Public policy on preservation begins in Rome spurred by a recognition of the
importance of the capital of the empire.

Beginning with the reign of the emperor Julian the Apostate (born 332), decrees were made concerning the protection and maintenance of public buildings. Under Theodoric the Great (495-526) officials were appointed to oversee the preservation of statutes (curator statuarum) and of ancient monuments (architectus publicorum) beginning a long tradition of attempts to preserve Rome’s ancient fabric.
However, revival was stressed, fragments not appreciated…

Here are some examples of such authors who try to benefit from the scandals created by their books..

Beck`s book is on sculpture and painting
Walden`s book is on painting alone
both authors are evidently not competent in materials and their history, conservation practice and science in the way that a trained conservator would be- this is a distinct disadvantage. However, the avarege reader is even less advantaged in theese areas.

What fears do theese books illustrate?
-fear of science
-fear of loss control/ authority (in the case of art historians) – ex: the cleaning of the Sistine chapel, which Beck was highly critical of.
-fear of “big business”
– desire to retain a specialized status
